SIA “STIKLA SERVISS”, in accordance with the agreement signed with the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia, implemented the project “Development of a new high added value product supporting welfare and quality of life by SIA “STIKLA SERVISS”” (Id. No. NAGS2-IES-2021/4) from April 2022 till March 2024.
During the project 3 prototypes for different modules/applications of the new glass structures or their combination were created; they were tested, validated, as well as demonstration of the prototypes was carried out in the production premises (artificial environment) and outside the premises (operational environment).
1 application for design registration has been prepared and submitted for the new product.
The specialists of SIA “Stikla Serviss” involved in the project, together with the specialists of the Norwegian partner “KlausenGruppen”, have carried out important work on the development of new products and quality assurance, applying important requirements for various target markets and quality aspects, considering the previous experience of the partners.
The aim of the project is to increase the competitiveness of SIA “Stikla Serviss” by 2024 developing new high added value product supporting welfare and quality of life – glass constructions to improve human safety, inclusion, and well-being.
The project is co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism’s 2014-2021 programme “Entrepreneurship Development, Innovation and small and medium-sized enterprises” in the small-scale grant scheme “Development of quality of life technologies”.
